A Squooshy Slouchy Hat

Here it is, a super cozy hat that's squooshy soft with just enough slouch. It works up in a blink with two strands of thick-and-thin yarn held together. Top it off with a matching extra large pom pom, or choose a faux fur fluff ball. Pretty cute, don't you think? Inspired by the tone-on-tone colors and fabulous twisted ply of Merino Textura, Trisha Mitberg designed this quick and easy hat pattern. It looks great in shades of grey, but other combinations are also adorable. Two skeins of Merino Textura will make two hats (one for you, one for a friend), just make your yarn...

Behind the Scenes: Fall Photoshoot

Ready to knit all the things?! It's become a Knitting Bee tradition to release a series of patterns in the weeks leading up to the winter holidays. Most are smaller projects, designed by our talented staff, perfect for gifting. They're the type of projects we enjoy knitting (and would enjoy receiving), worked up in yarns we love. Voted Favorite Bears: Pirate by Brenda H., Bride by Christine R., and Mermaid by...

CLICK your needles together for a great cause!

Our neighbors up the hill at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center are joining the national CLICK for Babies educational campaign and have asked us to partner with them by knitting and crocheting purple baby hats. Each and every day, infants are shaken because the person caring for them becomes frustrated with the infant’s crying. Many times, the abuse could have been prevented had the caregiver only known that an early "Period of PURPLE Crying" is part of normal childhood development. The hats you donate will go home with parents at the birth of their baby to raise awareness for shaken baby...
