It's cotton yarn, what's to say? I've used Sugar and Cream white before to make dishcloths but wanted a pretty color to try making a soap sock for the bath. Pima 100 is a bit softer than the Sugar and Cream brand, which means that even though it's cotton and there's no stretch to it like wool sock yarn, it was pleasant to knit with - and it knits up nicely. Also, the green is a very pretty soft green. The one skein will make me lots of soap socks, or maybe a few other things too...
