Ranch 02: Forbes
Brooklyn Tweed works diligently to create American-made, breed-specific wool yarns. Their Ranch line takes traceability one step further: crafting small-batch yarns from exemplary American ranches.
Forbes Ranch lies near Kaycee, Wyoming, in the eastern valleys of the Bighorn Mountains. The Forbes family has lived here for three generations, herding their Rambouillet sheep from lowland winter pastures up into the mountains each year. The sheep’s fine fiber is a testament to the care they receive and the stewardship of the land they graze. Durable, elastic, and soft enough to wear against the skin, the 100% Rambouillet wool has been spun into a bouncy 3-ply yarn, then dyed into a palette of earthy, solid colors (plus natural sheep's white). Ranch 02: Forbes is ideal for creating long-wearing garments and accessories that will look and feel luxurious for years to come.

Finished at Clemson Winding in Philadelphia, PA

Just received this yarn today and it’s so spongy and soft. I ordered the Agate to knit up the Guernsey wrap for me. The color is exactly as the stock photo and I’m so so happy with my choice. Knitting Bee once again sent my package immediately Thank you!
